Sami Rokka, Operations Manager at Transfennica\u2019s local branch, shares in this customer story how the new premises have simplified everyday operations and supported the company\u2019s continued growth.<\/p>\n

Everyday work became increasingly difficult due to recurring issues in the previous facilities. \u201cAfter several water damages that weren\u2019t fixed despite our complaints, and when the problem occurred for the fourth time, it became clear that we needed to find new premises urgently,\u201d Rokka recalls.<\/p>\n

Location plays a major role in Transfennica\u2019s daily operations. Although the company initially looked for premises accessible directly by truck, global political changes reshaped its import logistics needs. One key requirement, however, remained the same: proximity to the port.<\/p>\n

\u201cHietanen Port is essential for us. Ships arrive and depart daily, and our staff visits the port several times a day. We handle loading and unloading operations and provide vessel clearance services. Sometimes the crew also needs healthcare services \u2014 in those cases, the office\u2019s location makes everything much easier,\u201d Rokka explains.<\/p>\n

Securing new business premises can often be a long and heavy process for companies. Rokka\u2019s experience was the opposite.<\/p>\n

\u201cIf, for example, a fluorescent tube breaks, it\u2019s enough to leave a message. We often get a reply within half an hour, and the maintenance technician might arrive the same day. At the latest, everything\u2019s fixed within a couple of days \u2014 a huge improvement compared to our previous location.\u201d<\/p>\n

The staff have also warmly welcomed the new office.<\/p>\n

\u201cFrom the very first comments, the feedback has been extremely positive. Over 90% of employees are satisfied. The premises are clean, quiet, and modern \u2014 and the sea views from the windows make the workspace pleasant. It\u2019s great to be able to say I\u2019m proud of our new office,\u201d Rokka says with a smile.<\/p>\n

When asked whether he would recommend Fokus Nordic to other businesses, Rokka answers without hesitation:<\/p>\n
